| Can a burned out sixties slacker pothead make a difference in the modern world? You may be surprised by this, but the answer is no. Jeff Lebowski indulges in “jays” on several occasions throughout the film. These episodes help him “cope” with what’s going on. Oh, and a lot is going on. When Jeff accidentally kidnaps a South American princess on his way to a Guess Who concert all Hell breaks loose. Princess Butte is attempting to defect while on a tour of U.S. chemical plants, but things go awry when she falls from an embassy window through the rag top of Jeff’s ’68 Mustang.
